Blaine Duncan & the Lookers

Mixing undeniable wit with an undercurrent of weariness, Blaine Duncan & the Lookers are always set apart with their songs of heartbreak and wonder. The band garners attention for their live shows, thought-provoking lyrics, and unorthodox vocals.

In Passing Now Added

October 8, 2011:

One of our unreleased songs, "In Passing," has now been added to the site-wide music player.  The controls for the music player are at the bottom of every page on the website.  It is now the only place where you can hear this version of the song.  We hope that you enjoy the addition and keep coming back for more news and updates.

Band News & Green Bar Show

September 23, 2011:

Tonight's show at Green Bar will be the last show for a long time with this particular line up of The Lookers; I'm not saying that it is the last show ever, but it is hard to predict the future.  One thing that is certain is that we are going to put this particular grouping on the shelf for a while.  Hopefully, there will be another band of Lookers that will return, but I'm not sure in what capcity, who will be in the group, nor when it will happen.

For more specific information on tonight's show at
Green Bar with The Bear and Callooh! Callay! have a look at Get Local in today's Tuscaloosa News, written by one of my favorite local writers, Cory Pennington.

I cannot thank you all enough for the support that we've gotten while being a band. It means a lot to me and the rest of the group.  We have consistently had wonderful crowds, especially in our hometown of Tuscaloosa.  Many of our friends became fans, but more importantly, we've had a few fans who became life-long friends.   We hope that all of you get a chance to come out tonight.
